clackyAbout Clacky
Clacky is a cozy app for people who make things on their Mac.
It plays satisfying click, scroll and keyboard sounds, records your screen with the clicks in the video, takes screenshots, and grows a little harbour town while you work, all from your menu bar.
What Clacky is
The app has four places, each one click away.
My Kit
Your Clacky at a glance: click sounds, scroll ticks, keyboard sounds, click ripples, the notch, the recorder, screenshots and Clackyland, one switch each.
Sounds
37 click sounds in 8 families, 29 keyboard sounds, 8 scroll tick styles and a ripple under the pointer on every click, visible in recordings.
Studio
Record your screen with your Mac’s sound, so the clicks are in the video, add a camera bubble, then trim, zoom and caption it. Take screenshots and polish them.
Clackyland
A harbour town that grows while you work: your Blip, the Cookie Factory where clicks bake cookies, the Closet, the Bazaar and your streak.
Why Clacky exists
Clacky wants to be the cute companion for people who make things on their Mac.
The app helps you make, show and share your work. Boop, Clackyland and the cookies make it fun to come back to. And it is built together with the people who use it.
Who makes Clacky
Clacky is made by Justinas Rolando. He builds it in public, with AI, and reads every message. More about Justinas →
How Clacky is sold
Direct only
Clacky is sold only at clacky.app, not on the Mac App Store. Polar, the merchant of record, takes the payment, handles tax and emails your licence key.
Two ways to pay
Monthly is $4.99 a month, cancel anytime. Lifetime is $19.99 once. Every feature is in both.
7 days free
The trial needs no card and no account. It starts when you first open Clacky and lasts 7 days.
Lifetime
Lifetime is $19.99 once and yours for good, with a 7-day refund. It is bought directly, without a trial.
Privacy in one line
Keyboard sounds listen for key down and up only: Clacky never records, stores or sends which keys are typed, and it respects Secure Input. Your recordings and screenshots stay on your Mac. The details are on the privacy page.
